Magnetic bike lights
Sustainable and ecological fires
The magnet (or magnetic) lights work thanks to magnets placed on the spokes of the wheel. When these rotate with the rim, they activate a small power box placed on the fork or on the frame which creates electric current by magnetism. Practical (no recharging) and above all ecological (no battery, no battery and indestructible) this system adapts to the front and rear wheels and does not cause any friction which could slow down the bike. The most top-of-the-range models are fitted with a capacitor which retains the charge and allows lighting to continue when stopped at a red light.
The Danish brand Reelight is a pioneer in this sustainable lamp segment.
