Belt driven electric bikes
No more steel, make way for Kevlar!
The transmission from the crankset to the rear wheel is no longer done automatically using a chain.
Borrowed from the automobile, the Kevlar (or carbon) belt is becoming more democratic and offers a new type of transmission. Farewell to derailments, quieter and more robust, it seduces with its superficial maintenance and its cleanliness (no more grease stains on the calves!).
Perfectly adaptable on electric bikes, it will give flexibility to each stroke of the crank.
A pioneer in the use of this technology, the high-end German company Schindelhauer only offers belt transmissions.
